The Pirate Ship Bed Trip is a rhyming bedtime story about a young boy and his bunny as his bed turns into a pirate ship. After he meets his captain, they set a course using the stars for navigation. They sail past islands and over coral reefs where they encounter many marine animals. They drop anchor and row a small boat to a deserted island. They explore the shore and find hidden treasure. A squabble breaks out, and the main character is left behind by the sailors. When he feels hopeless, the captain comes to his rescue just in time for the child to awaken to his mother's call. Using ancient seafaring tools and celestial navigation, the captain sets a course for adventure.
