The Face of Deception is the story of Sarah and her journey into forced adulthood when she is thrown into a world which most adults have never experienced. With her are her two best friends and her boyfriend, and although it may seem that she is not alone, she is. Being the only child of an East Indian woman and an Irish man has never been easy for Sarah - her mother is controlling and will not allow her to indulge in adolescent fun while her father believes that she should be enjoying herself.
