While sleeping during a missions conference, David Bredeman awakened to a call for everyone to stand. He jumped to his feet, expecting to be dismissed. To his surprise, well-meaning church members surrounded him and began praying. David soon found himself learning the ropes in Lima, Peru. Whether swashbuckling through the jungle or learning the language, his adventures proved entertaining and often funny.
