This story could be happening any time, any where in the world, to anybody. But this story is about two children in India. A happy hard working family suffers the disaster of a large flood and mudslide, in which home and village were destroyed. Miraculously the boy and girl are saved and taken to a shelter in the next big city. They get lost and have to learn to live as street kids.
