Our green and red Salanova lettuces are delicate and have a mild taste. We cultivate our lettuces using hydroponic farming, which means they grow 100% in water. To obtain incredibly nutritious food, we enrich the water with the vitamins and minerals necessary for their proper growth by replicating the nutrients found in soil. To keep our vegetables fresher for longer, we use packaging made from recycled plastic that is easily recyclable, over and over again. This way, we encourage a circular economy. The packaging extends the shelf life of our vegetables by protecting them and creating a barrier that preserves moisture to prolong their freshness. It's like a mini-greenhouse, allowing us and you to reduce food waste. Our tips for keeping your lettuce fresher for longer: - Store it in its packaging in the refrigerator, maintained at a temperature between 0 and 4°C, preferably in the vegetable compartment. - For crisper leaves, keep the roots in a damp cloth and store them in the packaging. Avoid letting the leaves come into contact with the damp cloth. - Only wash the leaves right before consumption to keep them crisp. - To consume, tear the leaves by hand, one by one, and avoid oxidizing them with scissors.
