The intent of this article is not to explain or describe the current logistics architecture for those are not familiar with the doctrine. Nor will this article attempt to detail a recommended replacement. While some of these concerns apply equally to the few SOF unique items funded by the Special Operations Command (SOCOM), the focus of the article is on the vast majority of logistics provided by the Army Service Component or other Executive Agent with ADCON responsibility to deployed SOF under Title X USC.
