In this unit, students will have the opportunity to examine the popular world of music. In the course of the unit, students learn about the general structure of a song, rhyme, melody, and rhythm. They explore the importance of creating "hooks" and developing effective creative thinkingskills. Students also examine popular authentic songs and their origins.
